The Tanglewood Series is an original Van Cort design inspired by the telescopes of the 18th and 19th centuries, emerging from the years of study and research in the discipline of engineering, optics and metal working. This remarkable brass refractor is available as a desktop or floor tripod model. Precision optics, including a two inch coated achromatic objective lens and erector, makes short work of long distances. The solid brass altazimuth mount provides total maneuverability.

The floor model is available in a hand rubbed and lacquered tripod of mahogany, oak, or black walnut. Both models are brightly polished by hand and lacquered for a long lasting finish.
